Six arrested

MOREHEAD The Rowan County Sheriff’s Office arrested six persons between Dec. 5, 2019 and Jan. 8, 2020 on various drug related charges.

Jonathan Collins, 27, of Morehead, was arrested on Dec. 5, 2019 for trafficking a controlled substance, first degree by trafficking less than five tablets of oxycodone.

Ryan Wade Moss, 49, of Morehead, was picked up on Jan. 2 for trafficking marijuana, less than eight ounces; trafficking a controlled substance, more than 10 tablets of oxycodone; trafficking a controlled substance, second degree, less than 20 tablets; trafficking a controlled substance, third degree, for less than 20 tablets.

Carolyn Sue Moss, 49, of Morehead, was arrested on Jan. 2 for trafficking marijuana, less than eight ounces; trafficking a controlled substance, first degree, for less than 10 tablets; trafficking a controlled substance, second- and third-degree charges, for less than 20 tablets on each count.

Melissa Hopkins, 47, of Morehead, was picked up on two counts of trafficking heroin, second degree. This is the third time she has been arrested for trafficking heroin.

Angela Sue Hanna, 48, of Olive Hill, was arrested on Jan. 4 for trafficking, first degree, less than two grams of methamphetamine; trafficking, first degree, more than two grams of methamphetamine and two counts of being a persistent felony offender, second degree.

Patricia Porter, 48, of Morehead, was picked up Jan. 8 for trafficking a controlled substance, first degree, less than two grams of methamphetamine.

All arrests were made by information gathered by undercover drug buys conducted by the Rowan County Sheriff’s Office.
