Crim, 22 of Winchester, was arrested on New Year's Day after starting a multi-county high speed police chase after stealing a car that was at her place of employment.

CLARK COUNTY A high-speed police chase was brought to an end at the Rowan-Carter line on New Year's Day.

Rose Crim, 22 of Winchester, stole a car from a McDonald's parking lot in Clark County. She is an employee of that restaurant.

Deputies followed Crim into Montgomery County before eventually entering Rowan County.

Reports say Crim swerved her vehicle in an attempt to push pursuing deputies off the roadway.

She got off the interstate in Morehead and sideswiped a car before getting back on the interstate.

Deputies were able to stop Crim at the Rowan-Carter line.

She was booked into the Clark County Detention Center at 5:14 p.m. Wednesday.

She is facing 12 different charges relating to theft by unlawful taking, speeding, driving recklessly, operating on a suspended license and under the influence, fleeing police and wanton endangerment, among others.
