Co-founders of the New Kentucky Project, Adam Edelen and Matt Jones, will be at the Morehead Conference Center at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 9, as part of their Barnstorming Tour.

The event will be set up as a town hall forum.

Jones and Edelen are hoping to engage the audience to find out what issues matter to them and discuss proposed solutions to those issues.

Edelen is the former state auditor and Jones is the voice of Kentucky Sports Radio.

The New Kentucky Project seeks to “move Kentucky forward” and modernize the state through a variety of different policy initiatives.

The project acknowledges that there will be differences of opinion among some Kentuckians on issues and seeks to embrace those differences, rather than accept the two-party dichotomy in today's politics.

The New Kentucky Project believes that when intelligent, well-meaning people disagree, consensus can be built through discussion and education.

The event is free and open to the public.
