The Morehead Youth Development Center hosted its Community Dog Show on Saturday, Oct. 19.
“The weather could not have been better,” said show manager and recreational coordinator Tammy Gilliam.
The dog show generated $540 for the youth recreation fund.
Awards were given for first, second and third places with the exception of Best in Show.
Best in Show prize package included: Dog items donated from Big 4 Lumber, gift card from Tractor Supply, gift card from Creative Touch with a toy dog, in a basket with a dog toy and a Certificate.
People from the community seemed to enjoy it. Some patrons said that they would be back again next year.
The Morehead Youth Development Center thanks all its area sponsors for contributing to the show.

MYDC hopes to make the show bigger next year and looks forward to seeing the community there.
