Hoedown in the Holler, a homegrown country music festival started in 2010, will return for the 10th renewal in 2019. The event will be headlined on Sept. 21 by Joe Diffie.
Diffie has five No. 1 and 17 Top 10 hits including “Pickup Man,” “John Deere Green,” “Home,” “New Way (To Light Up an Old Flame),” “If the Devil Danced (In Empty Pockets),” “Is It Cold in Here,” “Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox (If I Die),” “So Help Me Girl,” and many other chart-topping songs.
Camp sites are available and are $70 for the weekend, including water and electric. Reservations for campsites are currently being accepted.
Tickets are on sale at www.eventbrite.com and will be on sale soon in the local area. Tickets are $20 in advance for Friday; $25 after Sept. 14. Tickets are $25 in advance for Saturday; $30 after Sept. 14.
