Thirty-six people were indicted by a Rowan County Grand Jury May 17.

Indicted were:

• Davion Beair, 23, for allegedly escaping a jail transport vehicle at the intersection of US 60 and KY 32 on March 9.

• Antonio J. Booker, 22, for wanton endangerment when he allegedly pointed a gun at Fernando Salgado in the Sonic Drive-In parking lot on March 14. Booker also allegedly carried a concealed weapon and committed the offense of possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

• Ashley L. Brown, 35, for allegedly being in possession of methamphetamine on March 1. Brown also was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana and promoting contraband.

• Jordan Scott Greisheimer, 25, for two counts of allegedly trafficking in a controlled substance and being in possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 8, 2018.

• Brandon R. Wease, 32, for allegedly trafficking in heroin and meth on Dec. 8, 2019. Wease also allegedly resisted arrest and was in possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Jacob Ray Jennings, 21, for allegedly trafficking in more than two grams of meth on Dec. 8, 2018. Jennings also allegedly was in possession of a handgun while trafficking in heroin, was in possession of drug paraphernalia, promoted contraband, had an improper display of registration plates and was in possession of a handgun by a convicted felon.

• Vercil R. Hunt, 44, for theft by unlawful taking when he allegedly took lumber and pallets belonging to Fannin’s Industries and sold them to Bobby Conn for $15,345 between Nov. 18, 2017 and March 1, 2019.

• Levi J. Lewis, 28, for receiving stolen property when he allegedly was in position of a 2005 Honda Civic that was reported stolen from Leighann Neal on March 12.

• Kimberly M. Martin, 43, for receiving stolen property when she allegedly was in possession of a 1998 Dodge Ram pickup truck that was stolen from Billy Lunsford on Jan. 11.

• Jeremy Alan Workman, 37, for allegedly trafficking in heroin. Workman also allegedly operated a motor vehicle under the influence, was in possession of drug paraphernalia, failed to produce an insurance card and did not have an illuminated rear license plate on Feb. 4.

• Jordan Scott Greisheimer, 25, Brandon R. Wease, 32, and Jacob Ray Jennings, 21, for allegedly engaging in organized crime between Dec. 7, 2018 and Dec. 8, 2018.

• Bobby L. Conn, 72, for receiving stolen property when he allegedly was in possession of $15,345 in stolen lumber and pallets belonging to Fannin’s Industries between Nov. 18, 2017 and March 1, 2019.

• Matthew S. Coursin, 43, for two counts trafficking in a controlled substance when he allegedly trafficked in 27.465 grams of cocaine and 30.31 grams of meth on March 20. He also was indicted for trafficking in marijuana.

• Sarah Laken Mathews, 24, for two counts trafficking in a controlled substance when she allegedly trafficked in 27.465 grams of cocaine and 30.31 grams of meth on March 20. She also was indicted for trafficking in marijuana.

• David J. Roe, 42, for assault when he allegedly struck Jeremiah Thompson with a Chevy Colorado pickup truck he was driving, sending the victim airborne on Feb. 16. Roe also was indicted for wanton endangerment when he allegedly tried to strike Thompson with a steel pipe.

• Katelyn Callihan, 19, for trafficking in a controlled substance when she allegedly trafficked in 7.695 grams of meth on Nov. 30, 2018. Callihan also was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, wanton endangerment and three counts fraudulent use of an ID Card or Electronic Code for Benefits.

• Miranda Davis, 43, for wanton endangerment when she allegedly brought a two-year-old juvenile into a home where drugs, drug paraphernalia and guns were out in the open or easily accessible on Nov. 20, 2018. Davis also was indicted for possession of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance not in original container.

• Jamie Ray Dehart, 45, for trafficking in a controlled substance when he allegedly was in possession of 4.420 grams of meth with the intent to sell on Dec. 23, 2018. He also was indicted for speeding, fleeing/evading police, reckless driving, three counts wanton endangerment, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, two counts criminal mischief, resisting arrest, possession of marijuana and operating a motor vehicle under the influence.

• Calin R. Muse, 22, for trafficking in a controlled substance when he allegedly trafficked in 6.311 grams of meth on Nov. 30, 2018. He also was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of marijuana, wanton endangerment, possession of a destructive device or booby trap and three counts fraudulent use of an ID Card or Electronic Code for Benefits.

• Alexandra N. Jackson, 20, for complicity to wanton endangerment when she allegedly aided Stephen D. King by driving him so he could fire several shots from a firearm into a home on March 21.

• Stephen D. King, 24, for wanton endangerment when he allegedly fired several shots from a firearm into a residence with at least three shots hitting the home on March 21.

• William Mark Mocabee, 53, for trafficking in a controlled substance when he allegedly trafficked in .714 grams of meth on Jan. 1. He also was indicted for two counts possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, drug paraphernalia and handgun by a convicted felon.

• Daniel Porter, 34, for alleged trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of handgun and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on Dec. 7, 2018.

• Angela D. Rutland, 29, for alleged trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia on Dec. 7, 2018.

• Michael B. Price, 25, for wanton endangerment when he allegedly was operating a vehicle while intoxicated and was involved in an accident hitting a vehicle operated by Daryl Maggard on April 12. He also was indicted for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, leaving the scene of an accident and disorderly conduct.

• Katelyn N. Callihan, 19, Calin R. Muse, 22, Miranda L. Davis, 43, and Justin B. Cantrell, 30, for engaging in organized crime (criminal syndicate) when they allegedly conspired to traffic in a controlled substance between Nov. 28 and Nov. 30, 2018.

• Cantrell was indicted separately for alleged trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and a destructive device or booby trap on Nov. 30, 2018.

• Charles L. Herbert Jr., 20, Matthew J. Leibrock, 19, Brandon Thomas Meade, 19, and Justin M. Tingle, 18, for robbery when they allegedly assaulted Ryan Triplett and a juvenile when they stole marijuana from the victims they had agreed to buy from on April 1.

• Michael R. Conn, 37, for possession of a controlled substance when he allegedly was in possession of oxycodone on Oct. 25, 2018.

• Charges against Kelly Ann Bowman were dismissed by the grand jury for two counts fraudulent use of a credit card and two counts theft by deception.

The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only. That person is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the state must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
