Twenty-six persons were indicted by a Rowan County grand jury on Friday, Aug. 16. Indicted were:

• Todd R. Caudill, 30, for three counts receiving stolen property when police say he pawned a $550 welder and $1,050 ladder and pressure washer belonging to Jackie Cottrell and $1,600 in jewelry belonging to Letisha Cottrell on Jan. 21, April 15 and May 11.

• Brandon Doyle, 30, for two counts trafficking in a controlled substance when police say he trafficked in 6.489 grams of methamphetamine, and heroin on May 2. He also was indicted for possession of a controlled substance when police say he had oxycodone.

• Joshua Haddix, 30, for assault when police say he struck a female with a clothes hanger causing minor physical injury on April 27.

• Amanda D. Henderson, 26, for trafficking in a controlled substance when police say she trafficked in 5.021 grams of meth on June 19. She also was indicted for possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana.

• Tony C. Holbrook, 38, for two counts possession of a controlled substance when police say he had heroin and meth on July 5. He also was indicted for possession of marijuana, tampering with physical evidence and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Carl Ricer, 41, for two counts possession of a controlled substance when police say he had heroin and Buprenorphine on July 6. He also was indicted for possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Jonathan W. Riley, 22, for burglary when police say he remained in the home of Alisa Wright with the intent to commit a crime on June 12. He also was indicted for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Billy Winford Ross, 35, for possession of a forged instrument when police say he possessed a counterfeit $100 bill at Valero on May 25.

• Jessie Rena Wallace, 30, for two counts receiving stolen property when police say she pawned $2,250 in jewelry and scrap gold, and $1,500 in other jewelry on May 5 and May 12.

• Cecil David Diamond, 48, for sodomy when police say he engaged in deviate sexual intercourse with a juvenile less than 12 years old between April 1, 2018 and June 30, 2018.

• Jamie L. Fraley, 36, for exploitation of an adult when police say he defrauded a man of $10,402 between Dec. 27, 2018 and May 13, 2019.

• Charles D. Caskey, 47, for trafficking in a controlled substance when police say he trafficked in a Schedule I drug on July 2.

• Linda Skaggs, 54, for possession of a controlled substance when police say she had heroin on July 2.

• Joshua K. Crawford, 29, for burglary when police say he remained in Crawford’s Towing with the intent to commit a crime on July 4. He also was indicted for two counts theft by unlawful taking, two counts possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia on April 23, July 2 and July 4.

In a separate indictment, Crawford was charged with theft by deception when police say he wrote 11 checks to his business, Crawford Truck Repair, for $11,271 using verification codes that would not be honored by the bank because the codes had previously been used, between Nov. 5, 2018 and Nov. 16, 2018.

• Stephanie L. Crawford, 28, for two counts possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia when police say she had heroin and meth on July 4.

• Donald Gilbert, 34, for possession of a controlled substance when police say he had meth on June 12. He also was indicted for careless driving, giving officer false identifying information, operating on suspended or revoked license and possession of drug paraphernalia.

• Corey James Hilterbrand, 24, for wanton endangerment, criminal mischief and operating a motor vehicle under the influence when police say he ran over Jesse James’ leg/foot and caused $5,000 in damage to a garage on June 17.

• Ashley Pack, 31, for criminal possession of a forged instrument when police say she passed a $140 forged check on July 17.

• Sherry Roseberry, 38, for theft by unlawful taking when police say she took $676.45 in merchandise from Walmart on Feb. 13.

• James Ronald Stacy, 32, for theft by unlawful taking when police say he took a $1,308 inverter and chainsaw from Lowes on June 11.

• Tera Stone, 30, for promoting contraband when police say she brought meth into the Rowan County Detention Center on May 31.

• Molly A. Stephens, 32, for promoting contraband when police say she brought meth into the jail on May 31.

• Kelli Cornett, 45, for fraudulent use of a credit card when police say she used her Morehead State issued credit card to obtain $5,175.45 in services between May 22, 2017 and June 20, 2019.

• Mitchell Ray Kidd, 37, for escape when police say he failed to report to Probation and Parole to receive his monitoring device on May 20.

• Brandon Keith McGlone, 33, for receiving stolen property when police say he was in possession of a stolen $1,200 truck and sold it to Caudill Salvage on March 14.

• Brian Wallace, 26, for 20 counts possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor on Dec. 4, 2018.

The indictment of a person by a grand jury is an accusation only. That person is presumed innocent and is entitled to a fair trial at which the state must prove guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.
