The Morehead Rotary Club and the Rowan County Town and Country Homemakers are partnering again to support the children's foster care programs at Sunrise Children’s Services.

Donations can include clothing of any size, toiletries such as shampoo, toothpaste and toothbrushes, and personal care and hygiene items. Also collected are suitcases, backpacks, and travel bags. Last year over one hundred of these storage items were collected so that children would have suitcases, etc., when they move to another placement.

Lice treatment medications are another need.

Sunrise Children's Service is located on KY 801 North in Morehead. It brings hope and unconditional love to children whose lives have been devastated by abuse and neglect.

Donations can be dropped off at the Allstate Insurance Office, 168 E. Main Street, Morehead. The office is across from the Fuzzy Duck Coffee Shop and is open Monday through Thursday. Call Kimberly Rigsby, agent, at (606) 548-6030 for normal business hours or for an appointment to drop off donations.

Call Connie Richardson at (606) 207-7608 for information.
