Gym Dandy’s Gymnastics traveled to Hopkinsville to compete in the AAU State Meet. The Excel Silver team brought home the first place trophy. The Level 1 and the Level 2 teams placed second. Gym Dandy’s gymnasts won a total of 32 gold medals, 30 silver medals and 13 bronze medals.

Gym Dandys’ had 15 All-State Gymnasts: Macy Caudill, Kayden Monnett, Shelby Lykins, Bailey Swartz, Emma Crouch, Reece McCane, Nalaha Skaggs, Mallory Jones, Sara Andres, Ainsley Howard, Brooklyn Stephens, Destiny Barker, Sabrina Sturgill, Sarah Oesch, and Haleigh McClain.

Gym Dandy’s had six All-Around State Champions with the highest cumulative score in their division on Vault, Balance Beam, Bars, and Floor Exercise: Shelby Lykins, Emma Crouch, Nalaha Skaggs, Mallory Jones, Sara Andres, Brooklyn Stephens, and Haleigh Mc Clain

Gymnasts who competed Level 1 were Macy Caudill, Tyra Evans, Shelby Lykins, Nadia Mansfield, Kayden Monnett, Alyssa Mcpherson, Jaycee Robinson, Bailey Swartz and Cheyenne Wells. Gymnasts who competed at Level 2 were Sara Andres, Emma Crouch, Mallory Jones, Reece McCane and Nalaha Skaggs. Gymnasts who competed at Level 3 were Ainsley Howard, Abby McPherson, Whitney Sweet and Bailey White.

The gymnasts who competed at Level 6 were Laila Burns and Savannah Vice. The gymnasts at Excel Silver level were Adrianna Allen, Destiny Barker, Ariah Egleston, Olivia Hamilton, Cece Hiatt, Brooklyn Stephens and Sabrina Sturgill. Gymnasts who competed at Excel Gold were Autumn Egleston and Sarah Oesch. The only gymnast competing at Excel Diamond was Haleigh McClain.

The team traveled to York, South Carolina, to compete in the AAU Southern Regionals, May 17-19.
