Doyle Martin Rayburn

Oct. 12, 2011 —     Doyle Martin Rayburn, 41, of Morehead, passed away Monday evening, Oct. 10, 2011, at St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, as a result of injuries sustained in a four-wheeler accident.

    He was born Jan. 9, 1970, in Boyd County, a son of Janet Cooper Rayburn of Morehead, and the late Robert (Junior) Rayburn.

    Doyle had formerly worked at Morehead Machines as a machinist and enjoyed watching UK basketball, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

    In addition to his mother, Doyle is survived by four brothers and two sisters-in-law, Terry and Brenda Rayburn of Olive Hill, Junior Dale Rayburn of Floyd, Va., Ronald Rayburn and Farron and Maria Rayburn, all of Morehead; one sister and brother-in-law, Myra and David Harper of Elliott County; five nephews, Dane Rayburn, Michael Harper, Stephen Harper, Gavin Rayburn and Gabriel Rayburn; and two nieces, Terra Burchett and Sofia Rayburn. He also leaves many other extended family members and friends who will sadly mourn his passing.

    Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Oct. 14, 2011, at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill, with Brother Tim Stamper officiating. Burial will follow in the Walnut Grove Cemetery in Olive Hill.

    Friends may call from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 13, 2011, and until the service hour on Friday at Globe Funeral Chapel in Olive Hill.

    Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
