Ronald Gilbert Estep 1938-2008
MOREHEAD - Ronald Gilbert Estep, age 69, of Estep Road, Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead.
He was born November 29, 1938, in Rowan County, Kentucky, and was the son of the late Lake and Letha Thompson Estep.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by one daughter, Maria Cuccarese; six brothers, Ernest Estep, Evan Estep, Elmo Estep, James Estep, Odell Estep, and Burnest Estep; and four sisters, Janice Estep, Sue Estep, Grace Estep, and Eula Faye Estep.
He is survived by two daughters, Rhonda Catrett of Ocoee, Florida, and Tina Estep of Muncie, Indiana; one brother, Ray Estep of Bloomington, Indiana; and two sisters, Alta Gulley of Morehead, Kentucky, and Carol Jean Deckard of Bedford, Indiana; eleven grandchildren; and 3 great grandchildren.
Gilbert was a farmer and an outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR racing, and riding his 4-wheeler.
Funeral services will be conducted 1 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Cecil Ison and the Rev. Lloyd Dean officiating. Burial will follow in the Estep Cemetery on Cranston Road.
Pallbearers will be Jerry Estep, Alan Estep, Gary Gulley, Scotty Estep, Carl Estep, Ron Estep, Mark Esham, Harry Clark, Woody Clark, Milton Martin, and Clifford Plank.
Visitation is after 6 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2008, at Northcutt & Son Home for Funerals.

Lydia M. Stigall 1921-2008
ROCHESTER, IND - Lydia M. Stigall, 87, formerly of Hamlet, IN passed away April 22, 2008 in Hickory Creek Health Care Center, Rochester. Mrs. Stigall was born April 4, 1921 in Morehead, KY to James and Lana (May) Messer and lived in the area for 60 years, coming from Kentucky. On February 19, 1937 in Morehead, she was married to Glenmore Stigall, who preceded her in death in 1980. She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters, four brothers and companion, Harry Minix. Survivors include: five daughters, Louise Stevens of Plymouth, Barbara Feltner and Patsy Zeiger, both of Rochester, Glenda Greer of Plymouth and Fredia Adams of Knox; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, seven great-great grandchildren; three sisters, Juanita “Junie” Stevens of Morehead, KY, Bobby Lu Johnson of Ingalls, IN and Martha Jessie of Seymour, IL; one brother, Leonard Messer of Knox.
She was a former employee of Pilgrim Manor Nursing Home in Plymouth and a past member of the Church of God in Morehead.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. CDT at Rannells Funeral Home, Hamlet Chapel with Rev. Floyd Allen officiating. Burial will be in the Fletcher Cemetery, Hamlet. Friends may call Saturday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Sadie Tranbarger 1926-2008
FLEMINGSBURG - Miss Sadie Tranbarger, 81, of Flemingsburg, KY passed from this life to eternal life on Monday, April 21, 2008 at her home. Sadie was born on May 19, 1926 in Rowan County and was the daughter of the late Hiriam and Bertha Eldridge.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Roy Eldridge, Troy Eldridge and Clarence Eldridge.
Sadie is survived by her husband of61 years, Paul Tranbarger; three children, Richard Tranbarger and spouse Margaret, Vicki Stephens and spouse Danny, and Jeff Tranbarger and spouse Valerie, all of Flemingsburg, KY.
In addition to her spouse and children, Sadie is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren: Melissa Lytle, Brad Stephens and spouse Nikki, April Stephens Lowe and spouse Duane, Monica Tranbarger Hill and spouse Chad, Amber Stephens Hinton, Brooke Tranbarger, and J.P Tranbarger and spouse Stacy. Great grandchildren; Myranda and Martina Lytle, Sidney and Noah Stephens, Blake Hamilton, Lauren and Emma Hill, and Owen Lowe.
Very special extended family: Tammy Kinder and her two children, Derrick and Garrett Kinder.
Sadie also has four surviving brothers and sisters: Dessie Cate of Richmond, IN, Dorothy Blake of Indianapolis, IN, Delmar Eldridge and Vencil Eldridge, both of Flemingsburg, KY and one sister-in-law, Stella Eldridge of Harrison, Ohio.
Vistation and celebration of life services were at the Mt. Pisgah Christian Church in Rowan County where she was a faithful member. Visitation was on Thursday, April 22 from 5-9 p.m. and Celebration of Life service at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, April 23, 2008. Boone-Nickell Funeral Home will be in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made in her honor to Hospice of Hope (909 Kenton Station Drive, Maysville KY 41056), who helped bridge her journey to heaven.
