MSUCorps AmeriCorps program wins 'Make A Difference Day' award
For the third straight year, the MSUCorps/AmeriCorps program was presented with the “Make A Difference Day” award during the annual Governor’s Awards for Outstanding Volunteer Service in a ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion.
MSU adds student orientation program for Aug. 8
Morehead State University will offer a Student Orientation, Advising and Registration (SOAR) program Friday, Aug. 8, from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. on the first floor of the Adron Doran University Center (ADUC) in preparation for the 2014 Fall Semester.
MSU water treatment plant exceeded standards
Kentucky’s Energy and Environment Cabinet has announced that 61 drinking water treatment plants in Kentucky, including Morehead State University, consistently produced drinking water in 2013 that exceeded state and federal water quality standards.

Morehead State University's Space Science Center, in partnership with the American Association of University Women (AAUW), offered SpaceTrek, an immersive one-week camp for girls entering their sophomore, junior or senior year of high school July 12-19 at the MSU Space Science Center.
Frieden, Rogers to host SOAR “Health Impact Series” at Morehead Conference Center
Morehead State University and St. Claire Regional Medical Center will present Dr. Thomas Frieden, director of the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, and U.S. Rep. Hal Rogers as part of a "Health Impact Series" under the new Shaping Our Appalachian Region (SOAR) initiative.
Journey of Hope Trans-America cycling team visits MSU
Morehead State University hosted the 2014 Journey of Hope Trans-America cycling team. The group of cyclists is comprised of college men from across the United States who are members of Pi Kappa Phi fraternity.
MSU to hold ‘Summer Send-Off’ July 31 in Pikeville
Morehead State University Office of Enrollment Services will host a “Summer Send-Off Celebration” Thursday, July 31, from 6-8 p.m. at the Pikeville City Park Shelter and Gazebo.
