MSU announces new tailgate spot for football season

Aug. 20, 2013 — Due to the construction of the new intramural and soccer practice field to the west of Jayne Stadium, the Eagle Rally Tailgate Zone has been moved for the 2013 football season.

Tailgating prior to MSU football contests will now take place in the paved lot adjacent to the Space Science Center (Smith-Booth Hall). Fans can access the lot from Lee Avenue.

The Eagle Rally Zone is the ultimate tailgating location, which has been created to help enhance the game day experience of fans by providing a common area for food, friends and fun.
