MOREHEAD, Ky. - Morehead State senior guard Tarah Combs has been selected as one of the participants for the 20th Annual State Farm College Three-Point and Slam Dunk Championships.
This year's event, in conjunction with the men's Final Four, will be held on Thursday, April 3 at Greehey Arena on the campus of St. Mary's University in San Antonio, Texas
The event will air on ESPN at 9 p.m. EDT. Combs will be one of several contestants in the women's three-point championship.
"I'm so proud to have the opportunity to represent Morehead State and the Ohio Valley Conference. To be able to compete with the nation's best three point shooters is an honor and says a lot about our women's program here at Morehead State," said Combs. "Representing Morehead State in this competition is just one way I can repay the university for four great years of academics and athletics."
Combs finished off a stellar four-year career at MSU a few weeks ago. She set a single season school record with 95 three-pointers this year and ranked second among all NCAA Division I women's players in total three-pointers made and three-pointers per game with 3.1.
For her career, she finished second in career three-pointers with 234 and finished tied for third in career games played with 115.
