Chynna Bozeman earns fourth OVC Freshman of the Week accolade

— MOREHEAD, Ky. - Morehead State's Chynna Bozeman was named Ohio Valley Conference women's basketball Freshman of the Week Monday, the fourth time this season she has earned the award, the most in the league in 2007-08.
Bozeman played 79 of the possible 80 minutes in Morehead State's two OVC games against Samford and Jacksonville State. She led the team by averaging 17.5 points and shooting 42 percent from the field. Bozeman came within one of tying her career high at Jacksonville State, scoring 22 points. At Samford, she recorded 13 points, six rebounds and four assists. Bozeman also hit seven three-pointers and shot 47 percent from beyond the arc over the two contests.
She leads the Eagles in scoring (12.5 points per game), free throw percentage (87.7) and steals (42).
