Two-vehicle accident

Emergency agencies responded to a two-vehicle accident around 6:35 p.m. on KY 1274 at the junction of Clay Lick Road Tuesday evening. The Morehead Fire Department had to use the Jaws of Life to remove a door to free one of the patients from one of the vehicles involved. A total of six patients were transported to St. Claire Regional Medical Center. Responding to the scene were Morehead & Rowan Co. E.M.S., Morehead Fire Department and the Kentucky State Police. The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Howard.
