Three injured in I-64 wreck

Morehead firefighters were able to successfully extract two people from a Ford Explorer that wrecked on July 4 near the I-64 Eastbound exit ramp.
The two people were pinned in the vehicle for about 25 minutes, but one had been able to escape the accident before help arrived. All three were transported to St. Claire Regional Medical Center by Morehead-Rowan Co. E.M.S.
The accident remains under investigation by Ptl. Michael Curtis of the Morehead Police Department.
