The editor:
I would like to thank the firemen and the electrician that helped me on Dec. 30, 2007.
On Christmas Eve my cat Bubba, who is a house cat, got outside while I was gone and I could not find him until the morning of Dec. 30. I went out to start my van to go to church when I heard Bubba cry out to me. I talked to him and followed his cry until I found him in a tree about 40 to 50 feet up. I knew that there was nothing that I could do to get him down so I went to church and when I returned back home I called my local Fire Chief, Jackie Thomas.
Mr. Thomas said that he would come out and see what he could do but did not promise that he could get Bubba down.
When Mr. Thomas got to where I was we both realized that it would be almost impossible to get Bubba down but other firemen came to Mr. Thomas' aide and the more we tried to get Bubba down the higher he went.
Finally Mr. Thomas was able to get in touch with someone that installs electric lines and he came out to climb up the tree to get Bubba down.
I do not know this mans name but who ever he was he was able to get close enough to Bubba to get a hold of him and we ended up tossing Bubba down into a tarp held by the firemen. And I was able to bring him home.
I just want to say thank you from the bottom of my heart that God brought all of you into my life to answer my prayer to bring my cat home safely.
In God's Love Always,
Vicki Ingle
