It’s tough to thank all the wonderful folks responsible for making the annual Kids Fishing Derby such a spectacular success… but I’m sure gonna try!

As the community sportswriter I was happy to cover such a worthwhile, happy event and as a fishing uncle I was proud to be a part of such a rewarding activity with my nephew and my family. On behalf of the hundreds who took part, thanks so much (especially to my good friend Fred Howes!) to you all!

There were 228 registered pint-size anglers who took part, from ages 2-15. And the following made this annual event such a whopper of a success! Thanks again…
