A&L is celebrating its 30th year in operation. As a family owned and operated business, it is known for its award-winning service and quality built homes.
A&L is a Fleetwood mobile home retailer, which is a winner of the Fleetwood Circle of Excellence Award for 18 years in a row. A&L Homes, located on the AA Highway in Flemingsburg, delivers quality homes and quality service.
Just walk into their office and see a table full of trophies, which look like Emmy Awards one would see on television.
What customers get from A&L Homes when purchasing or shopping is honesty, quality, friendly service and no pushy sales people. When customers stop in to see A&L General Manager Jeff Lee, they are made to feel at home.
Whenever a customer visits the dealership and the office, he or she would be greeted by a warm and friendly salesperson. The salesperson would talk about the homes they sell and welcome visitors to tour each home. The salesperson welcomes customers to ask questions.
When customers go touring the homes, customers are encouraged to view the homes on their own. A salesperson does not follow customers to pressure them into buying.
"We were named the #1 dealer in Kentucky through November,” Lee said.
A&L is a dealership that offers customers custom-made homes. Customers do not have to purchase homes that are showcased.
“You don’t have to settle for the layouts of the homes we have on our lot,” Lee said. “You can order what you want from the homes you see on the lot.”
Lee told The Morehead News that was the beauty of their business. People can come and tour each home. Then they can choose the features they like best from each home and order their home.
“We have 2007 models on the lot that are on sale right now,” Lee said.
Financing is very simple, he added.
“We do a variety of loans and we work with different banks,” Lee said. “We do what is called 100% financing and we do FHA loans.”
Unlike other dealerships that sell model homes, A&L displays a detailed listing of the prices for each home. Usually price lists could be found posted on the front door of any model home.
A&L offers complete satisfaction and service with a smile and a handshake. Lee stated his company deals with many people and has not had many complaints about the service they have rendered.
“Out of 100 we deal with, about one to two people may not be happy with us,” Lee said.
Lee added the dealership’s owner comes out to every set-up appointment and oversees every home set-up. Each customer receives personal service from the owner. Every person who buys from A&L is not just a number added to their sales but a home for the models they sell.
