Derby Day charity yard sale canceled

May 4, 2012 — Saturday’s planned Derby Day Charity Yard Sale at The Morehead News has been scratched.

The event may be rescheduled later in the year, according to Keith Kappes, publisher.

“Several other community organizations already had planned yard sales on Saturday and we want to be a good neighbor,” he said.

Details on other Saturday activities can be found elsewhere in the May 4 issue of The Morehead News under “News To Use,” “Community Calendar” and “Upcoming Events."
